Pray & Slay FAQ
Who is Pray & Slay for?
Pray & Slay is for women who want a clear, intentional reset that establishes rhythms for faith, movement, and daily discipline at the start of the year. It is not about perfection or performance, but about beginning with clarity and carrying those practices forward.
Is this a coaching program or Bible study?
Pray & Slay is a formation reset. It is not one-on-one coaching, therapy, or a traditional Bible study. Teaching, direction, and encouragement are provided, but personal responsibility is required.
What kind of movement is required?
Movement is flexible and accessible. Walking, strength training, stretching, yoga, or similar intentional movement all count. The focus is consistency, not performance.
Are workout plans or meal plans included?
No. Pray & Slay does not include structured workout or meal plans. Any examples shared are optional and provided only to reduce decision fatigue. Participants are encouraged to choose movement and nourishment options that best fit their body, schedule, and season of life.
Why is there no alcohol for the month?
Removing alcohol for January creates mental clarity, spiritual attentiveness, and physical reset. This boundary is not about judgment. It is about creating space for awareness and alignment at the start of the year.
What Bible reading is required?
All participants follow The Bible Recap Bible in a Year plan. The goal is daily exposure to Scripture, not mastery or pressure to understand everything.
What if I miss a day?
Missing a day does not disqualify you. Returning to rhythm without shame is encouraged. The reset is about consistency, not perfection.
Is participation in the Facebook group required?
No. The group exists for support and encouragement. Participation is welcomed but not mandatory.
Is Pray & Slay connected to a specific church?
No. Participants are encouraged to attend their local church of choice. This is a great opportunity to try out new churches and attend with other ladies from our Facebook group. Pray & Slay is not a substitute for church.
